QA Specialist - Toll (J&F)

Position Overview
The QA Specialist – Toll in Verification and Documentation experienced and highly analytical. These uphold the safety regulations of the company and verify the production process to guarantee that all products meet quality expectations.
Quality Assurance Specialist In-Line performs regular product evaluations, record inspection results, work on technical documents in order to ensure timely, recommends improvements, relevant and meaningful feedback to the production process and identify issues in the production under products or services. To further demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical analysis.
Responsibilities
QMS Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain and document Quality Management System (QMS) activities, records, and reports.
- Prepare audit reports and ensure proper documentation of quality assurance activities.
- Review manuals, specifications, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with product and service requirements.
- Document inspection findings, corrective actions, and performance records accurately and on time.
Food Safety and Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, GMP, HACCP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and assessments of incoming materials, in-process operations, and finished products.
- Investigate, address, and escalate quality-related concerns, including recommending appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Reject or recommend disposition of materials and products that do not meet established quality standards.
- Monitor and verify production processes to ensure consistent product quality and food safety compliance.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Provide quality and food safety guidance to production personnel to promote product excellence and compliance.
- Participate in product trials, validations, and special projects related to toll manufacturing and process improvement.
Training and Development
- Support the implementation of food safety and quality training programs across departments.
- Facilitate orientations, refresher training, and awareness sessions related to food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and document training participation and completion records.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Prepare and submit monthly reports covering GMP Audit Ratings, Pest Control Program, Environmental Monitoring Program, Van Sanitation Audits, Process Validations, and other quality performance indicators.
- Report significant quality and food safety issues promptly to the QA Toll Supervisor and relevant stakeholders.
- Provide monthly highlights and analysis of quality verification activities conducted at toll manufacturing facilities.
- Monitor corrective actions and ensure timely closure of identified quality concerns.
Other Duties
- Perform other quality assurance and food safety-related functions that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Education
- Bachelor Degree of Science preferably in Food Science or related field (Meat Science, Biology, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Food Technology etc.).
Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in food manufacturing under Quality Assurance
Skills
- Tagalog and English Language Fluency a must
- Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
