Trade Marketing Assistant (J&F)

Position Overview
The Trade Marketing Assistant (TMA) plays a key support role in the planning and execution of trade promotions and marketing activities. This includes preparing trade support materials such as TLs, memos, sales kits, and promo mechanics; assisting in project coordination and documentation; conducting competitor analysis; and maintaining accurate trade-related data.
The TMA helps ensure the smooth implementation of trade initiatives and contributes to tracking budget efficiency through proper documentation and reporting. The role also involves assisting in trade visits to validate on-ground execution, asset deployment, and competitor presence.
Responsibilities
- Draft TLs, memos, and sales kits for trade activities
- Maintain and update product price lists
- Conduct competitor surveys and comparative pricing studies
- Manage trade-related Facebook/product inquiries
- Support execution and documentation of promos, events, and projects
- Prepare billing documents and post-activity reports for trade initiatives
- Maintain proper records of trade-related communications and outputs
- Create simple artwork for trade events if Marketing cannot submit on time
- Conduct or assist in trade visits to monitor execution, gather feedback, and validate competitor activities
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Experience
Preferably have experience in Trade Marketing or as a Marketing Assistant
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities
- Observant, analytical, and confident in interacting with store personnel or trade partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); basic design skills in Adobe Photoshop or Canva is a plus
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently or in a team
- Willing to conduct regular trade visits to validate execution and gather market insight
