Sanitation Chemical Issuer (J&F)

Position Overview

1. 1. 1. Initiates cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, implements and utensils at all times in accordance with the company standards in sanitation program to promote quality and safe food products being produce.
      2. Monitors cleaning implements withdrawal, inventory, consumption and storage.
      3. Performs garbage collection in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

A. In-line Sanitarian

1. Cleans and organize production implements, utensils and areas according to area of assignment.
2. Ensures proper dilution of cleaning and sanitizing solutions for cleaning and sanitizing use.
3. Leads cleaning and sanitizing process using Ecolab cleaning satellites.
4. Performing garbage collection prior start-up of production, every after shift or as needed and dispose at B.O disposal area.
5. Performs continues cleaning and wiping of floors during production operations.
6. Ensures that all chlorinated solution dips (foot dip, hand dip, food dip) are readily available in respective areas of assignment and monitors frequency of replacement according to specific standard requirement.
7. Ensures cleanliness of outside perimeter of production area.
8. Reports to Assistant Section Head usage of new, worn-out, replaced and old equipment parts and implements.
9. Trains new personnel enabling to adapt in the environment.
10. Maintains GMP and Sanitation all the time.
11. Accomplishes reports as directed by the Assistant Section Head.
12. Reports to Production Assistant Section Head, concerns and issues.
13. Performs other duties that maybe assigned by the Production Section Head/Manager.

A. Laundry Personnel

1. Monitors issuance of coverall and headcap for production members use. Ensures recording of recipients for traceability.
2. Monitors in and out of cover all uniforms for washing and already washed
3. Operates laundry washer and dryer machines
4. Performs daily inventory of liquid detergent
5. Reports to Assistant Section Head/Production Section Head/Manager any concerns, updates or issues in laundry operations
6. Monitors laundry chemicals usage
7. Requests Purchase of needed implements such as liquid detergent, laundry baskets, basins and others.
8. Maintains clean and organize laundry area

B. Other Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adapts and complies with all policies and procedures implemented by the department and company based on an established code od discipline.
2. Reports to Assistant Section Head any equipment abnormalities, major breakdown which leads to downtime.
3. Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices, Human Safety, Food Safety and Sanitation all the time.
4. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Superior.

Education

• High school graduate or College Graduate of any business course

Experience

• 1–2 years experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, or similar industrial environments
• Cleaning and sanitizing production, packaging, freezer, or support areas
• Handling cleaning tools and sanitation chemicals
• Pre‑operational and post‑operational sanitation activities
• Shift work, including night or downtime sanitation

Skills

• Proper use of cleaning tools, equipment, and sanitizers
• Correct chemical dilution and application (as trained)
• Basic dismantling and cleaning of simple equipment or parts
• Identification of areas requiring re‑cleaning
• Proper waste segregation and disposal
• Completion of sanitation checklists and log sheets
• Basic reporting of completed tasks or issues
• Willingness to follow instructions and standards
• Physical stamina for repetitive and labor‑intensive tasks
• Strong sense of cleanliness and responsibility
