PROMOTION PERIOD: The Johnsonville-John Gillespie New Hire Promotion (“Promotion”) begins at 8:00 am Central Daylight-Saving Time (“CDT”) on May 1, 2022 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CDT on July 31, 2022 (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for the Promotion.

AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the Promotion, all entrants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning the prizes (described below) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
ELIGIBILITY. The Promotion is open only to individuals who: (a) at the time of entry, are 18 years or older and legal residents of the fifty United States and District of Columbia; (b) apply for a team member position at one of Sponsor’s locations during the Promotion Period; and (c) are hired and maintain employment by Sponsor for the period of August 31, 2022, thorough November 30, 2022. Current employees of Sponsor, prizing partners, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and companies involved in the implementation and execution of the Promotion or otherwise associated with the Promotion (collectively the “Promotion Entities”) are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER: Complete an application to become a team member at one of Sponsor’s locations. On the employment application, check the box regarding the John Gillespie Promotion. Individuals who are hired by Sponsor and complete the eligibility requirements will then receive one entry into the Promotion.
All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. No entries will be acknowledged or returned. Limit one (1) entry per person.
TIMING OF DRAWINGS AND NOTIFICATION TO WINNER. On or about December 1, 2022, the winner(s) of the prize(s) will be selected via a random drawing consisting of all eligible entries during the Promotion Period. Selection of winners will be conducted by Sponsor; whose decisions are final.
PRIZES AND THE VALUE OF THE PRIZES. One (1) Grand Prize: Grand Prize winner will receive an ice fishing trip for two people with John Gillespie (“Trip”). Trip includes: one (1) day of ice fishing with John Gillespie near Green Bay, Wisconsin, two fishing licenses, and a one night hotel stay near Green Bay, Wisconsin. Winner is responsible for all transportation and food/beverage costs. Trip must be scheduled in January or February 2023 and dates are subject to John Gillespie’s availability. In the event the Grand Prize winner is unable to attend on the selected dates, the Grand Prize may be forfeited. In the event that John Gillespie is not available for any reason, Grand Prize winner understands and agrees that the meeting with John Gillespie has no cash value and the Grand Prize shall consist of all of the above prize elements except for the opportunity to meet John Gillespie. Winner must be eligible to receive a fishing license. Winner must complete a publicity release and liability waiver prior to Trip. Failure to complete the required liability waiver may result in the forfeiture of the Grand Prize. Grand Prize winner acknowledges that Trip may be filmed and footage may be used on the Waters & Woods television program or in Johnsonville’s promotional advertisements. Approximate Retail Value of Grand Prize is $300. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value, if any, will not be awarded.
GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The prize is subject to availability and is subject to change. The prize may not be transferred, assigned, changed or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole or in part with other prizes of comparable or greater value if the intended prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Grand Prize winner is responsible for all taxes associated with the acceptance of the prize and Sponsor will complete any applicable IRS reporting requirements for the fair market value of any prize.
ODDS OF WINNING. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RELEASE. By participating, each entrant (a) agrees to release the Promotion Entities, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Promotion, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by their participation in this Promotion, including the unauthorized or illegal access to personally identifiable or sensitive information or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize except where prohibited by law; (b) consents to the use by Sponsor and each of their respective designees of the winner’s name, hometown, photograph, voice, or other likenesses and prize information for promotion, advertising and marketing purposes in any media now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without additional compensation or consideration, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law, and upon request will provide written confirmation of such consent; and (c) acknowledges that none of the Promotion Entities or anyone else has either made, or is in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to, its quality or availability. Neither any of the Promotion Entities nor any service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data or voice transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or website or to complete a telephone call or facsimile transaction, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost or misdirected mail, or any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE, TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT, AND SPONSOR AND THE APPLICABLE ENTITIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR INDIVIDUAL(S) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
No failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall constitute a waiver of that provision. If for any reason the Promotion (or any portion thereof) is not capable of being executed as planned, or in the case of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of entrants, technical failures or any other causes that in the opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion (or any portion thereof), Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any suspect entry or entrant and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion (or any portion thereof. Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification.

Neither any of the Promotion Entities nor any service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data or voice transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or website or to complete a telephone call or facsimile transaction, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost or misdirected mail, or any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE, TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT, AND SPONSOR AND THE APPLICABLE ENTITIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR INDIVIDUAL(S) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Except where prohibited, by participating Promotion entrants agree that: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant(s) and Sponsor and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Promotion, or awarding of the prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this Promotion, each entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or awarding of the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Promotion but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
