Formulation Team Member/ Assistant Team Leader
Watertown, WI
Starting Hourly Rate: $26.30. Skill block completion will increase hourly rate.
Pay Range: $25.55 - $28.38 per hour
Hours: 2:30pm – 12:00am, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)
Position Overview:
The Formulation Assistant Team Leader will work closely with the Team Lead to motivate and engage the team to achieve the team’s goals, improve individual skills, and enhance teamwork. The Assistant Team Lead will ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements, as well as establish and sustain effective relationships with all Members in order to foster an environment where innovation, cooperation and ownership are used to solve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and learn different machines/positions on the line which include:
- Blenders
- Combo Weighing
- Spice
- Fat Analysis
- Proper set up and teardown of equipment
- Accurately perform SAP transactions in regards to job duties
- Take ownership for your personal safety and the safety of all Members working around you
In addition to an operator position on the line, the Assistant Team Leader has the opportunity to work with the Team Lead to:
- Perform End-of-the-Day paperwork
- Manage fat inventory
- Assist with coaching Members in the areas of safety, food safety, quality, and member development
- Ensure appropriate parties are aware of problems, issues, and events that could affect safety, food safety/quality, cost, customer service
- Encourage cross training and Member growth through Skill Blocks
- Assist/Lead daily team meeting
- Handling of Hold processes within SAP
- Complete all other duties as needed
Education:
- High School Diploma Preferred
- Associates Degree Preferred
Experience:
- Past Food Manufacturing highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in providing positive feedback and coaching on performance improvement
- Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance areas (Human Safety, USDA, HACCP)
- Machine Operator background preferred
- Ability to obtain forklift certification and maintain a good safety record if job duties require a forklift
- Computer skills preferred in SAP, Outlook, Word and Excel

- Must be at least 18 years old
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, hand grip up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 40 lbs on a regular basisWalking and/or Standing throughout the shift
- Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shift
- Willingness to work in cold conditions
