Support Analyst/Inventory Control Specialist

Meadowside Facility

 

Position Overview:

The Support Analyst/Inventory Control Specialist supports the Maintenance and Operations teams by managing all aspects of maintenance inventory. This includes ordering, receiving, storing, organizing, and reporting on all parts and materials. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, preventing shortages, and supporting maintenance scheduling to ensure Johnsonville’s operations run efficiently and safely.

 

Responsibilities (Maintenance Inventory):

  • Inventory Management: Tracking inventory parts, watching for shortages and overstock, general parts room housekeeping, replacing faded or missing labels and organizing parts cabinets
  • Cycle counting weekly
  • Analyze parts failure data
  • Parts kitting as needed
  • Work with Accounting on packing list or invoice discrepancies and submissions
  • Coordinate parts return to vendors and fill out the proper documentation
  • Identify critical parts and slow moving or obsolete parts
  • Work with MRO with changes made to stock parts (safety stock, vendor part numbers)
  • Run inventory accuracy, inventory turns and scrapped parts reports for Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planner and MRO
  • Create BOM (Bill of Materials) for equipment
  • Run blocked invoices and verify that parts were received, and quantities match the PO
  • Set up new parts in inventory utilizing parts add forms
  • Kit parts for job plans, PMs and other maintenance tasks

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

 

Experience:

  • 3 years prior related Maintenance experience required; GMP/USDA regulated area, preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ Vizyia, preferred  
  • Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook experience, preferred

 

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Always comply with GMP and safety rules
  • Good decision making and work prioritization skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the willingness to learn

 

Other requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and to load/unload freight with forklift
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Member Status:               Full Time, Hourly Office Technical

Hours: 1st Shift:               7:00am – 3:30pm
