Sr Project Manager

Position Overview:

You will have the opportunity to lead the execution of project management strategies through collaborating with sponsors, stakeholders, business owners, change managers, and cross functional members to deliver Johnsonville’s strategic initiatives and projects in scope, within budget and on time.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for project execution and collaborating with the business owner to deliver the project on time, in scope, within budget and with the expected outcomes and benefits
  • Partner with the executive sponsor, stakeholders, business owner and change manager to develop the scope, success metrics, budget, resources requirements and high-level projects milestones
  • Determine project management methodologies to utilize to execute each project, including agile, waterfall and hybrid
  • Manage all aspects of the projects including scope, priorities, tasks, budget, resources, issues, risks and decision logs, and a timeline with an integrated change plan with the core team; create and maintain project information in Microsoft Projects
  • Facilitate sponsor, stakeholder, core team and sprint meetings; ensure timely issue resolution, risk mitigation and decision making
  • Lead a program of strategic initiatives and projects; understand and manage the interdependencies between projects
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
  • Mentor or coach others to continue to further develop project management competencies throughout the organization
  • Be a catalyst to continually drive process improvements and efficiencies within project and program management

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business management, or related area of study required
  • PMP or PMI certification preferred

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position accountable for delivering projects on time, in scope and within budget, manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience in partnering with executive sponsors, business owners, change managers and core team members to develop and deliver projects
  • Microsoft Projects experience preferred
  • Experience with agile and hybrid project management methodologies preferred

Location:                                         Global Headquarters, Sheboygan Falls, WI

                                                           (Our office is about an hour north of Milwaukee and an hour south of Green Bay)
