Sr. Finance Manager – International Finance Transformation

 

Position Overview: Johnsonville, LLC, a strong, high-growth company, has an excellent opportunity for a driven leader to join us as Sr. Finance Manager – International Business Unit (IBU) Finance Transformation.  The successful candidate will play a key role and be looked to by the international business unit (IBU) as a key business partner driving consistent, accurate, and insightful financial analytics across our enterprise.  Additionally, you will play a key leadership role in IBU Finance, creating a roadmap to successfully integrate systems, people and processes across the different entities located around the globe.  Coaching and developing others to be strong catalysts for operational excellence and continuous improvement is an essential part of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to our locations in Asia, partnering with our teams around the globe to create a roadmap of systems and process integration with the goal of a more standardized approach to financial reporting and analytics across the enterprise
  • Be a change leader.  Partner with IBU Leadership, Johnsonville Finance, and IT to drive initiatives for clear business reporting
  • Create a roadmap for previously acquired businesses to be fully integrated into the enterprise, with a standardized approach to driving business decisions
  • Partner with IBU Finance Leadership to develop a future state financial team structure with clearly defined roles, responsibilities and expectations aligned with enterprise strategy execution
  • Clearly define commercial spend types in the IBU P&L, and implement a plan for standardization and optimization of accounting for the different kinds of market investment leading to a clearer picture of investment return
  • Establish a framework for current and future state master data needs to support clear, consistent reporting
  • Define procedures and reporting needs to get to a clear profitability picture across the enterprise at the product and customer level
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Continuously learn the business including competitive landscape and operational strategies as you work with members across functions to establish future state system, people, and process support needs
  • Partner with finance and international IBP (Integrated Business Planning) leadership to create a roadmap and execution plan to align systematic forecasting across Johnsonville
  • Participate on various project teams as needed

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

 

Experience:

  • Seven or more (7+) years of accounting and finance experience required; experience in strong finance business partnering cross-functionally in an international environment preferred
  • Strong systems background – ability to connect business needs to system and process.  Knowledge of SAP including Business Planning and Consolidation tools and Power BI preferred.
  • Experience and passion for creating a vision of the future through leading, coaching and mentoring others

Travel:                                25-50% of your time to Asia
