Johnsonville, LLC

Machine Operator

Pay Range: $26.27/hr - $27.92/hr

Hours: 5:30am – 2:00pm, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)

Responsibilities:

• Rotate to all positions in the Stuffing area
• Operating / Setting up / Changing over  a Poly-clip and Francomatic
• Lifting / hanging sticks weighing up to 40 lbs
• Pushing wagons of product
• Pushing racks of product
• Maintaining all paperwork related to the position.

Experience:

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong math background is required
• Must be able to communicate and demonstrate teamwork performance to maintain World Class Results
• Must be able to push/pull racks and wagons
• Must be able to complete production documentation paperwork accurately
• Ability to learn and then properly use SAP to help manage an accurate casing inventory and product flow
• Must be willing to cross-train at both stuffing and formulation.
• Must be able to obtain a fork-lift license
• Must be willing to learn basic computer skills such as Word, Excel, Access, SA.
• Ability to work at heights that are above ground level.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to become fluent with using the Redzone program and participate in Operator Driven Reliability.
• Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.

Other:

• Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
