IT Vendor and Project Coordinator
Position Overview:
The IT Vendor and Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the successful planning and execution of IT projects within the global IT portfolio. This member will interface with internal and external project managers and solution providers working to coordinate project activities and ensure resource assignment and utilization is maintained, helping to track project task progress, and facilitate issue resolution / risk identification. The coordinator will ensure consistency in communication and visibility to project status and resource needs through the use of project and task management tools, thereby working to identify capacity constraints and to prioritize work in pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management & Coordination:

- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor communication, negotiations, and issue resolution
- Coordinate vendor resources, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with project objectives
- Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure contract compliance, quality standards, and cost management
Project Management:

- Lead and manage projects using Lean, Agile, DevOps, and Scrum methodologies to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage project risks and issues effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, business, and operations) to ensure alignment with overall business goals
- Track and report on project progress, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and deliverables
- Basic comprehension of schedules, their use, and the importance of adhering to them
- Ensured lockstep coordination for projects that create or affect dependencies within the application ecosystem, to ensure test and cutover plans are adhered to
- Balance multiple small projects simultaneously
- Take notes at meetings and produce them in a timely manner
- Prepare budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs and assess budgetary impact
- Help fellow teammates and members with portfolio and project management tasks as necessary
- This role requires expertise in lean principles, agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and Scrum principles, as well as some familiarity with SAP S/4 value streams (core modules)
Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, computer science or related discipline desired
Experience & Skills:
-
- At least 5 years of experience in vendor management, project management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Agile, DevOps, and Scrum principles, with a proven track record of applying these methodologies in project management.
- Experience with business analysis, process improvement, and requirements gathering.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA modules and implementation processes is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Location: Global Headquarters, Sheboygan Falls, WI (one hour north of Milwaukee)
Coach: IT Solution Delivery and Support
Member Status: Full Time, Salaried (Opportunity for hybrid and summer hours)
Travel: Not a ton, less than 10% of your time
Other: May require work outside normal shift hours
