Director of Operational Process Standardization
Position Overview:
The Director of Operational Process Standardization will define the strategic vision for consistent operating practices across Johnsonville’s global manufacturing network. This role leads a team of specialists to develop, implement, and digitize standard operating procedures and training, driving a culture of operational excellence and ensuring best practices are adopted across all sites.
Responsibilities:
- Set the strategy for SOP development and standardization across manufacturing operations
- Lead creation and rollout of training programs to ensure consistent execution
- Drive digital transformation of SOPs and training through RedZone
- Partner with Safety, Quality, and Learning teams to integrate RedZone compliance modules
- Support Management of Change processes in partnership with Operational Process Improvement
- Collaborate with Safety and FSQA leaders to maintain compliance in procedures, training, and tools
Education:
- BS in Engineering, or related field required
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience
- Proven success creating and standardizing SOPs and training programs
- Strong leadership and influence skills across functions and levels
- Deep knowledge of operational excellence and continuous improvement practices
- Clear, confident communicator with strong facilitation and training skills
- Skilled in leveraging digital tools and data for insight and improvement
- Self-starter and comfortable in a complex, multi-site environment
