Director of Operational Process Standardization

 

Position Overview:

The Director of Operational Process Standardization will define the strategic vision for consistent operating practices across Johnsonville’s global manufacturing network. This role leads a team of specialists to develop, implement, and digitize standard operating procedures and training, driving a culture of operational excellence and ensuring best practices are adopted across all sites.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set the strategy for SOP development and standardization across manufacturing operations
  • Lead creation and rollout of training programs to ensure consistent execution
  • Drive digital transformation of SOPs and training through RedZone
  • Partner with Safety, Quality, and Learning teams to integrate RedZone compliance modules
  • Support Management of Change processes in partnership with Operational Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with Safety and FSQA leaders to maintain compliance in procedures, training, and tools

Education:

  • BS in Engineering, or related field required

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Proven success creating and standardizing SOPs and training programs
  • Strong leadership and influence skills across functions and levels
  • Deep knowledge of operational excellence and continuous improvement practices
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong facilitation and training skills
  • Skilled in leveraging digital tools and data for insight and improvement
  • Self-starter and comfortable in a complex, multi-site environment
