Change Practitioner or Sr. Change Practitioner

Position Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role by leading the creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans and collaborating with project owners, project managers and sponsors to maximize member adoption, usage and minimize resistance to deliver our strategic initiatives and priorities. 

 

Change Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Apply the Prosci framework to create a strategy to support member adoption leveraging change management processes and tools
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify impacted groups and level of impact; then develop change strategies and plans needed to implement the change including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans and resistance management plans
  • Partner with project managers to integrate change management activities into project plans
  • Support the communications team through the design, development, and delivery of communications
  • Lead change management and risk assessment survey development, distribution, and analysis to understand barriers; collaborate with project leaders to create and implement plans to overcome barriers
  • Support and engage business owners, project managers and sponsors to ensure projects are taking actions to realize member adoption and utilization
  • Define and measure adoption metrics to evaluate and ensure member readiness
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and communications at all levels of the organization
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics

Sr. Change Practitioner Responsibilities (includes above, along with):

  • Develop and implement standard change management processes and tools
  • Mentor members supporting change management processes to further develop capabilities
  • Educate leaders, coaches and members on change management, its importance in project success and their role
  • Collaborate with senior and functional leaders to design, develop and implement change plans
  • Guide business owners, project managers and sponsors with great questions and candid discussions to ensure projects are realizing member adoption and utilization at expected levels

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

 

Change Practitioner Experience:

  • Prosci Change Practitioner Certification preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools preferred

Sr. Change Practitioner Experience:

  • Prosci Change Practitioner Certification required
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools required

 

Change Practitioner Skills and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead major change management efforts
  • Ability to lead multiple change management projects in parallel
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to think strategically and align plans to company strategy and priorities
  • Demonstrated record of strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders, functional and cross-functional teams to drive for superlative performance

Sr. Change Practitioner Skills and Competencies (includes skills above, along with):

  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships, influence and instill confidence and trust
  • A willingness and desire to mentor and develop others

Member Status:              Full Time, Salaried – 1 Open Position

Travel:                               Not a ton, less than 10% of your time
