Business Analyst - Reporting

 

Position Overview

Johnsonville, LLC, a strong, high-growth company, has an excellent opportunity for an outstanding individual to join us as a Business Analyst - Reporting.  This role is responsible for developing dashboards, generating reports, managing the project management system, and identifying trends to improve project execution and strategic decision-making.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track progress against strategic goals, OKRs, and key initiatives
  • Provide data-driven insights to support portfolio prioritization, resource planning, and investment decisions
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Excel.
  • Analyze data across programs and projects to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps
  • Support portfolio health reviews with metrics on delivery, benefits realization, and resource utilization
  • Track and report on cross-functional dependencies and strategic initiative milestones
  • Ensure data integrity across project and portfolio management systems (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI)
  • Collaborate with project managers to validate and update project data
  • Design and optimize reporting processes and automation to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
  • Support the rollout and adoption of project management tools or enhancements across the Enterprise
  • Lead the configuration, maintenance and be the subject matter expert of project management and reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI).

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field

 

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, or data analytics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Experience with project management systems (e.g., Smartsheet) is a plus
