B2B Customer Service Representative II

Position Overview:

Johnsonville, LLC and its Members are committed to having the highest impact on our customers’ success.  Our Customer Service Team is committed to this goal and has an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive, energetic individual, who is dedicated to exceptional customer service to join our team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of customer service and value (knowledgeable, positive and professional), acting as a company representative for internal and external customers.  This includes:
    • Collaborate with customers, the sales team, brokers, distribution centers and internal members on related customer service opportunities
    • Oversee customer orders and shipments for accurate items, prices and delivery dates
    • Regularly update internal and external customers on order status and any issues
    • Execute and analyze customer related reports
  • Act as the primary representative and contact for specific customer accounts
  • Manage the escalation of issues within the Customer Service Team as well as facilitate cross-functional issue resolution
  • Perform root cause analysis to understand drivers of order failure in support of process improvement
  • Participate in and lead cross-functional teams and meetings
  • Monitor processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Manage metrics and assist or lead projects related to customers
  • Be responsible for understanding the complete order to cash process
  • Build collaborative relationships with customers by seeking to understand customer needs while educating the customer on Johnsonville process requirements

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree achieved/in process or significant equivalent experience required

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in customer service or supply chain is preferred

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong focus on customer success
  • Creative problem solver and analytical, including the ability to conduct a root cause analysis
  • Proficiency with Business Software (SAP preferred), and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); basic EDI knowledge a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customer accounts, brokers, and sales team
  • Organized, accurate and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

                                           (Our office is about an hour north of Milwaukee)

Coach:                              VMI and Customer Service Coach

Member Status:               Full Time, Hourly – Office Technical

Hours:                               8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, potential for overtime and holiday rotation

Flexible Work:                 Potential to work remotely 2-3 days per week
