We currently have an opportunity for a detailed-oriented, proactive individual who is dedicated to continuous improvement and exceptional customer service to join the Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Team Leader. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of activities as we move forward with our efforts to reach our vision of Reliability Excellence at Johnsonville Holton.
Position Overview:

Lead and assist with Implementing Johnsonville's Reliability Excellence Program
-
Initiate preventative maintenance strategies, Coordinate maintenance Repairs and Troubleshoot all plant and some utility equipment
-
Assist in developing a World Class Maintenance Department
-
Ensure effective communication between all maintenance shifts relative to scheduling, work projects, and other necessary information
-
Facilitate the successful resolution of recurrent problems through team participation
-
Coordinate all 2nd Shift Maintenance activities and ensure completion or all required work

Along with Maintenance Coordinator, participate in resolving team member issues
-
Lead the training and development of all 2nd Shift Maintenance
-
Lead and maintain continuous improvement efforts as they relate to equipment and process
Responsibilities:
-
Lead and coach a team of highly skilled maintenance technicians
-
Ensure planned work schedules, preventative maintenance schedules and responsibilities are completed using SAP, Vizyia
-
Engage in Root Causes Analysis and implement proactive solutions

Develop relationships with internal customers

Set work priorities and provide direction, as needed, to Members
-
Identify technical skill gaps and develop Members to meet those needs
-
Create an atmosphere of innovation and problem-solving within the Maintenance Team

Build team chemistry and participation

Drive the improvement of equipment and team members

Be an agent of change to increase performance and results

Work with members to develop and maintain their career goals

Track and analyze team performance metrics to drive improvement

Deliver accurate and on time coaching and timekeeping practices

Research parts needed for work/repairs and properly utilize Parts Inventory and Work Order systems.

Act as a point of contact for the facility maintenance during your assigned shift operations

All other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Coordinator
Education:
-
Technical Diploma in Industrial Maintenance Technology or other technical discipline (Experience and knowledge will be considered for internal candidates)

Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline a plus
Experience:
-
At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience (food industry experience a plus)
-
Technical team leadership experience is preferred

Certificates or training in Maintenance Management and Reliability preferred
Skills and Competencies:
-
Demonstrated electrical and mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
-
Leadership experience is required
-
Commitment to personal growth and a proven ability to coach and mentor others to higher levels of responsibility and skills

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
-
Strong decision making and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks at a time
-
Highly motivated self-starter with the drive to achieve results
-
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP (or equivalent CMMS software), and Viziya (or equivalent maintenance scheduling software)
Coach for this position: Bill Binkley, Maintenance & Engineering Coordinator
(We don’t have bosses at Johnsonville. We have Coaches. They are there to help you develop your talents. They cannot make you run laps.)
Hours: 2nd Shift (Overtime as needed) - however flexibility is required to support 1st and 3rd shift Maintenance as well.
