Position Overview

The timekeeper is responsible for reconciling all hourly timecards for accuracy. In addition, this position will be responsible for issuance of attendance discipline in adherence to the Denmark Attendance Guidelines and timekeeping processes. Timekeeper works collaboratively with Denmark leaders and members to resolve timekeeping concerns. Partner closely with Human Resources for timekeeping concerns.

Responsibilities

•    Verify member hours worked, performing daily editing for member timekeeping and attendance (SAP-Workforce Software)
•    Coach members on inconsistencies or discrepencies in daily timekeeping or editing
•    Administer timekeeping in accordance with the attendance and other guidelines for hourly members
•    Maintain leave accruals (i.e. PTO, leave of absence, etc) for hourly members ensuring accuracy
•    Train and coach members and leaders on Denmark timekeeping processes and timekeeping requirements and the related guidelines
•    Prepare and balance timekeeping period-end reports
•    Update Timekeeping guidelines and process documentation as needed
•    Other administrative tasks or project work as needed
•    Provide excellent customer service to customers
•    Adhere to timekeeping best practices within established guidelines and research and resolve any new situations that arise to be compliant with applicable laws and regulations
•    Other duties as assigned

 

Education

•    A minimum of an Associate Degree in Business, Accounting or two years production Payroll/Timekeeping experience preferred

Experience

•    A minimum of 2 years of experience using timekeeping software required

Skills

•    Word and Excel Software experience required
•    Timekeeping software experience required
•    SAP Software experience preferred
•    Ability to maintain professional confidentiality
•    Consistent, detailed, organized work style
•    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Other Requirements

•    Ability to be flexible with schedule as business needs arise.

 

Must be at least 18 years old and able to work on-site in Denmark, WI.
