Position Overview

Starting Hourly Rate: $25.68. Skill block completion will increase hourly rate.
Pay Range: $25.68 - $27.25 per hour.

Hours:  2:30pm – 11:30pm, Monday-Friday (Overtime as Production demands)

 


The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and attendance requirements.  In addition, this candidate will establish and sustain effective relationships with all Members so that they may work together to promote innovation and cooperation in order to solve problems.

Responsibilities

•    Driving PIV standing forklifts to move materials within the facility, including time spent in coolers/freezers organizing and rotating product
•    Placing in-house formulations into correct cooler locations following FIFO guidelines
•    Pulling batter from racks and delivering to Finished Goods based on daily production schedule
•    Pulling spice and staging for current-day and next-day production runs when necessary.
•    Pulling and staging raw materials needed for Finished Goods and Formulation departments
•    Using handheld scanning devices to move, transfer, and receive materials within the SAP system
•    Verifying correct material numbers, lot numbers, and quantities before staging
•    Supporting Formulation between material moves as needed
•    Assisting Shipping or Operations where needed to maintain production flow
•    Maintaining the highest standards of detail as it relates to product specifications, quality, and inventory accuracy
•    Actively participating in daily meetings and working collaboratively with team members
•    Following direction from shift leaders and adjusting priorities based on operational needs
•    Demonstrating flexibility to support production needs, including temporarily covering positions within Finished Goods, Formulation or assisting in improving cleanliness and organization within production areas

Education

•    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

•    Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment utilizing PIVs
•    Ability to obtain forklift certification and maintain a good safety record
•    SAP experience preferred but not required

Skills

Physical Demands:
•    Must be able to lift and hand grip up to 40 lbs, carry 10 lbs, and pull 20 lbs
•    Walking and/or Standing throughout the shift
•    Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shift
•    Must be able to work in cold environments

Other Requirements

•    Must be at least 18 years old
