Members of our human resources (referred to at Johnsonville as “Member Services”), office support, and administrative assistant teams—including executive assistants and other key support roles—play a vital part in both big picture strategy and day-to-day operations. These teams are also responsible for recruiting, building, and developing a talented and diverse workforce. From supporting effective meetings and coordinating executive calendars to negotiating vendor contracts and designing programs in health and wellness, compensation, finance, and development, their contributions are essential to helping the organization achieve its goals.
Position Overview
At Johnsonville, we know strong teams start with great people—and as a Recruiter, you’ll help bring in the Members who make that possible. You’ll support hourly manufacturing hiring across several locations, partnering with hiring leaders to understand what their teams need and connecting with candidates who will contribute positively from day one.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized in a high‑volume environment, and keeping the process moving with care and clarity. You’ll spend your days talking with candidates, guiding hiring teams, and finding practical solutions as needs shift. Responsibilities
- Support hourly manufacturing recruiting across multiple plants and locations, ensuring strong alignment with each facility’s needs
- Build trusting relationships with hiring coaches and team members, creating a smooth, predictable hiring process for everyone involved
- Manage a high‑volume, full‑cycle recruiting process with focus, accuracy, and genuine care for each candidate
- Provide a welcoming, respectful, and professional experience for every candidate
- Grow and maintain pipelines by staying connected with candidates and proactively building long-term interest in Johnsonville
- Review and work through open roles (job requisitions) each day with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
- Use internal systems to track progress, keep information current, and source leads
- Coordinate interviews and logistics to ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring teams
- Assist with new hire orientation processes.
- Participate in early talent outreach or community recruiting activities as needed
- Contribute ideas and solutions to address workforce challenges and how we attract new talent
- Leverage translation tools to support clear communication and ensure every candidate can fully participate in the process
- Embrace AI-enabled tools that make the recruiting process more efficient, reduce manual tasks, and enhance the overall recruiting and candidate experience
Experience
- Recruiting experience strongly preferred (hourly or high‑volume recruiting a plus)
- Office administration, data entry and outbound calling experience required
- Experience in fast‑paced, process‑driven environments preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Hmong a plus

- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs

- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems

Other Requirements
- Travel: Less than 10% of your time
