Electro-Mechanical Technician 2nd Shift

Position Overview
Pay Range: $33.27/hr - $43.11/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium
Hours: 1:15pm – 10:00pm, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)
Responsibilities
Apply RCM techniques to improve the performance of a variety of production equipment
Perform maintenance of utility equipment
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on various production and utility equipment
Work on projects (i.e. machining, fabrication and working with outside vendors)
Help gather information to create technical equipment data for development of preventative maintenance information for SAP
Assist with new equipment installation and/or equipment relocation
Maintain facilities and equipment to meet Countryside, OSHA and U.S.D.A. standards
Be part of teams that implement ideas to improve uptime of plant equipment through equipment modifications, layout adjustments, and general machine maintenance
Experience
Two years of industrial maintenance experience is strongly preferred (welding, machining, metal fabrication skills specific to stainless steel are a plus); Candidates with less than two years' experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong Electrical, PLC Controls experience and Troubleshooting are heavily considered. Also, Servo Drive experience/understanding required. Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn is essential.
- Experience in ammonia refrigeration, HVAC and steam generation (boiler), considered a plus, although not required
Skills
Ability to understand parts/inventory system thru SAP for production and utility equipment
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be willing to work in varying temperature conditions, both cold and warm.
Candidate to possess unending commitment to personal and professional development thru technical/non-technical training efforts
Must be willing to share skills to help others develop and possess excellent communication skills
Member must be highly motivated, willingness to provide/share ideas and solutions, and possess a high level of expectations
Willingness to learn and support Asset Management, Maintenance, Product Quality, Safety and OPE initiatives
