Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Consistently handle “great tasting” sausage products according to specifications (see Result Blocks)
  • Be the heartbeat of the Johnsonville Warehouse by ensuring finished Johnsonville product is safely organized and stored with quality as your road map
  • Develop a strong set of world class skills in the area of shipping and the warehouse
  • Use your talents to help the Shipping/Warehouse department strive for and reach its world class potential
  • Utilize your organizational and communication skills through documentation of incoming receivables, product movement, inventory and providing proper storage
  • Be the first of many members in the process of greatness by receiving in quality supplies, finished goods and materials
  • Have an impact on customer success by productively assembling customer orders and keeping order pickers supplied with necessary products
  • Pick the world’s best tasting sausage for delivery to the customers who love it the most
  • Actively participate in daily meetings and project teams
  • Work with your team and coach to creatively, effectively and successfully tackle the exciting daily tasks in daily team meetings
  • Set goals and objectives; both personal and as a team member to acquire "superlative" performance in order to support The Johnsonville Way
  • Work with your coach to grow not only yourself but your team by making goals and plans to achieve those goals
  • Willing to start your day prior to the production start of their day (0430 daily)

Education

Experience

  • Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment
  • Experienced forklift operation and ability to obtain forklift certification
  • CDL preferred but not mandatory

  • Ability to take ownership of own and other Members’ safety
  • Must be willing to work in hot and cold conditions

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Enjoy time on a power industrial vehicle
  • Pick and load our great tasting sausage for our great customers
  • Organize warehouse with a strong capability for inventory control
  • Strive to ensure that the next shift is set up for success
  • Use SAP software to transfer materials
  • Idea generation to improve processes to achieve superlative performance
  • Willing to move 53’ trailers with a yard tractor while on the trailer lot
  • Willing to work some Saturdays
  • Willing to cross train to other areas / departments
