The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production requirements while managing the day-to-day activities of the Second shift Bart Line and helping to direct the activities of the Members on those lines. This candidate will be responsible for the results of this line in the absence of the Team Leader on Second shift and be tasked with driving their members to meet all goals in Safety, Quality, and Production.

 

Responsibilities

  • Effectively leads the day-to-day operation of either the Brat line in the areas of safety, quality and performance.
  • Evaluate and coordinate training needs and efforts of production team members required for the current production processes and integrate quality and safety training standards.
  • Daily scheduling and effective resource allocation.
  • Effectively manage member relations with the team and co-workers.
  • Effectively conduct team meetings.
  • Complete daily performance reports and shift paperwork.
  • Effectively communicate information to members.
  • Effectively communicate information to coaches and coordinators
  • Be able to create and promote a team environment, manage conflict, and resolve current issues.
  • Be a role model to all members.
  • Efficiently manage all aspects of safety on the line; address issues with safety immediately and be a safety champion.
  • Successfully utilize our SAP business management system to complete federally mandated paperwork and close out production paperwork for the day.
  • Maintain 95% floor presence within assigned area.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

 

Experience

  • 1 year experience as a Member of the Brat/Patty line. 
  • 6 months to 1 year leadership experience.

 

Skills

  • Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated communication and listening skills and ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to lead others in a respectful manner that motivates the Team to strive for success.
  • Ability to lead by example and involve others in the decision-making process (team player.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible by adjusting priorities.
  • Ability to innovate.
  • The ability to rotate shifts and lines may be required.
