Finance Manager – Strategic Projects
Position Overview:
This program is specifically designed to provide you with the experiences and tools needed to successfully grow within our culture, ultimately preparing you for future leadership roles at Johnsonville while addressing the strategic needs within the business.
While the program is tailored to you, generally, you will complete multiple strategic projects over a 24-month period, being uniquely exposed to a variety of experiences within cross-functional areas of focus. It is also possible that you will not complete the full 24 months as an attractive role within the team may arise before the completion of 24 months.

Responsibilities:
- To be determined by the rotational needs and all rotations will require differing levels of managerial skills combined with technical skills. The intention will be to continue your development in areas that are both strengths and opportunities to grow.
- Partner with business unit Finance leaders to help implement pre-defined actionable insights aimed at maximizing the performance of the business, focusing on both the short-term and long-term health.
- Provide scenario analysis and stress testing for project assumptions.
- Assist with performance reporting, profitability analysis, and strategic and financial planning, identifying insights that help improve business strength.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships at all levels of the organization to provide meaningful analysis, insights and recommendations.
- Continuously learn the overall business including competitive landscape, sales and marketing strategies, operations and supply chain as you work with cross functional members
- Support teams to deliver the strategic financial plan, learning Integrated Business Planning and utilizing the process tools to drive results
- Develop financial models and analyses that help teams better understand their business from a financial perspective and make financially sound decisions on pricing, promotions, costs, investments and/or product mix
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CMA or CPA preferred
- MBA a plus
Experience:
- Well-rounded Financial professional with experience in multiple financial disciplines
- Seven or more (7+) years of accounting and finance experience required with preference toward 5+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience
- Experience and passion for leading, coaching and mentoring
- SAP and BPC expertise a significant plus
- Prior leadership experience preferred

Travel:
- Less than 10% expected unless you and your coach decide on a rotation that will require a greater level of travel. This may be a great opportunity to stretch and grow in locations not located at our Global Headquarters.
