Since 2020, it has been part of Johnsonville, a leading processed meat company from Wisconsin, USA. This acquisition strengthens Johnsonville’s foothold in Southeast Asia and enables access to global foodservice clients such as quick-service restaurants and HORECA services. Position Overview
This position is responsible for supporting and driving human capital initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals. This role focuses on talent acquisition, employee development, engagement, organizational culture, and industrial relations within a food manufacturing environment to ensure a productive, compliant, and high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities
- To oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates to meet business workforce needs.
- To be responsible for Performance Management System (PMS) activities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and employee performance improvement.
- To implement employee branding initiatives, including social media engagement and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- To drive member (employee) engagement initiatives and foster a positive organizational culture aligned with company values.
- To manage Voice of Member (VOM) programs by analyzing feedback, proposing improvement plans, and tracking action items for continuous enhancement.
- To support capability building initiatives, including training, leadership development, and succession planning programs.
- To plan and execute HR development programs and contribute to special HR-related projects.
- To handle industrial relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- To perform other assigned duties from time to time.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG/food industry.
- Experience in handling end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, talent development, and industrial relations is required.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, Malaysian labor laws, and industrial relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Good organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Benefits and Compensation
Salary range: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00
