Since 2020, it has been part of Johnsonville, a leading processed meat company from Wisconsin, USA. This acquisition strengthens Johnsonville’s foothold in Southeast Asia and enables access to global foodservice clients such as quick-service restaurants and HORECA services. Johnsonville aims to utilize PrimaBaguz’s halal expertise to expand into growing markets in Asia and the Middle East.

Position Overview
This role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, strong governance, accurate reporting, and robust financial controls across the organization. This role safeguards the quality and reliability of financial information, ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and enables disciplined decision-making through strong financial governance and business control.
Responsibilities
- Own monthly financial results consolidation, scorecards, and reporting package preparation, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting to support the General Manager and leadership team in business performance reviews
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Lead forecasting, monitoring, and variance analysis of General Administration and SG&A expenses in partnership with functional owners to ensure disciplined cost management and visibility
- Coordinate with Commercial Finance and Supply Chain Finance to consolidate variance commentaries and ensure consistency, alignment, and one version of the truth across financial reporting outputs
- Own financial master data governance, including product, customer, vendor, cost center, chart of accounts, and reporting hierarchy integrity to enable accurate financial reporting and business decision-making
- Own finance policies, financial governance, and control frameworks, ensuring compliance with company policies, financial standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong internal controls, audit readiness, tax compliance, and statutory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Oversee cash management, banking relationships, balance sheet integrity, cash flow visibility, and working capital governance, driving financial discipline and accountability across the organization
- Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives to strengthen financial governance, reporting quality, and operational efficiency
- Represent Finance in Leadership Team, Finance Conference, Audit Reviews, and Governance forums, providing financial reporting, governance updates, compliance insights, and business performance recommendations
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Membership with a recognized professional accounting body would be an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant finance experience, with strong exposure to controllership, audit, or accounting
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or similar complex operating environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, controls, and compliance
Skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to connect financial data to business implications
- Confident communicator with ability to engage senior stakeholders
- High integrity, accountability, and ownership mindset

- Availability & Mobility: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
